What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies, tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.  It is the principal strength and conditioning program tools that we now use at Fit Bodies!
Our program delivers fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, sports, and life reward this kind of fitness, and on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. Crossfit uses the same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease as it does for cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
All humans ranging from children, to recreational gym goers, to athletes, to the elderly Рdepend on the same functional movements and should train with these movements. The only difference being Рone end of the spectrum is looking for functional competence, while the other is looking for functional dominance.   Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed CrossFit workouts and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and LIFE.
CrossFit is an effective fitness program consisting of constantly varied functional movements executed at a high intensity.   In other words (taken from CrossFit Unlimited) We intensely train life’s movements (functional movements) in life’s way (constantly varied) to get better at life (More fit/Intensity). The level of fitness you will achieve through CrossFit is unrivaled by any other fitness program available. We ask you to have an open mind and give CrossFit at Fit Bodies a try.  Your BODY and MIND will thank you for it!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
